This was a collection of short stories and excerpts that were intended to "profile" several up-and-coming romance writers - a giant portfolio, in a way. I already knew several of the authors and bought the book as a Christmas gift for another member of my RWA chapter. So it was a very successful mission: I got a nice gift for a friend, and a chance to check out the writing of some of my acquaintances! It's a nice way to introduce yourself to a whole new palette of romance writers.

Engrossing, enticing, rapturous, and scintillating. All these stories are rich with personal flaws and passionate heights. You can't believe it when the end of the story comes as your never ready for it to be over. Loved these romantic historical stories. They'll take you to another time and place. A beautiful sensuous time that's lovely to visit. I highly recommend these stories. You won't be disappointed.
